- If you ran an organisation to help protect children from abuse, what would you do?
- If you were given the opportunity to plan support programmes for survivors of child abuse, what would you include?

i'd have the right to remove children from their homes immediately if there was evidence that they were being abused. too many children are abused and even die because social services aren't willing or able to intervene even in obvious cases of neglect.

*agrees with above*
Id "force" people to tell if they had anything that wasnt right.... Its better to be wrong then to be right and let a child suffer.
Plus, I would try and make it easier for people to come forward to get help. Things like threats, police etc scare them into keeping quiet.
Create homes for people to go to, like the domestic violence ones, in every area
Make convictions more likely to happen
Name and shame!

I think I would create a safe house.
In my city, there is a wonderful organization. I'm not sure what it's called. It is a place where at risk children can stay for up to around a week or so while their parents "get their acts together." The kids aren't removed from their homes and it is a free will thing, so it wouldn't work for everyone. But for children who are at risk and the parents realize that they could "lash out" per se, I think it's a great option.
